Shane McLendon, General Contractor

A long-time resident of Mississippi, Shane grew up in Pearl, graduating from Pearl High School, and receiving a degree from Hinds Community College. Shane is a Certified Professional Remodeler with the MS Housing Institute and a licensed residential builder (to see his credentials with the MS State Board of Contractors, click HERE), and is also a member of the Home Builder's Association of Jackson (HBAJ), the Home Builder's Association of Mississippi (HBAM), and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Love of his profession and pride in a job well done is reflected in every remodel and repair he does. Because Shane grows a business on his home turf, he knows first-hand what his customers need and expect for service. His accessibility to the community allows for lines of direct communication between him and his customers.

When not remodeling, Shane's hobbies include hunting and fishing in Mississippi's (and sometimes other state's) wilderness. He resides in Brandon, MS, with his wife Breanne and their two sons.

Amanda Kittrell, Administrative Staff

Also a long-time resident of Mississippi, Amanda graduated from Northwest Rankin High School and earned an associate's degree from Hinds Community College. Amanda has traveled all over the United States, from New York City to Chicago to Denver, and even living in Atlanta for a year. While she loves traversing the States, and hopes to expand into international territories, she can always argue there is just something about Mississippi that keeps her coming back for more: the South is the only place you can get a decent glass of sweet tea.

In her free time, Amanda enjoys writing, experimental culinary arts, video games, photography, reading, interior design, watching Netflix documentaries, and submersing herself in the cultural art scene that Jackson has to offer. She often finds inspiration at the art museums around the area. She resides in Pearl, MS, and hopes to eventually attend the San Diego Comic Con.

Randy Cook, Carpenter Extraordinaire

Ever wonder why the drawers and cabinetry in our remodels look so stunning and balanced, like it was always meant to be there? It's because all of them are custom-built by our own in-house carpenter, Randy Cook. A native and resident of Mendenhall, MS, Randy has joined with Shane McLendon Builder LLC on remodels for many years now, building beautiful hardwood cabinets, cutting and installing trim work and moulding, and assisting Shane on jobs. While he is technically with us as a subcontractor, his attention to detail and mastery of craft, not to mention his sense of humor, makes him a valuable addition to our team.

Randy enjoys hunting and fishing in his down time, sometimes accompanying Shane and Timmy on hunting and fishing trips. His almost-instant bond with the McLendons makes him feel more like family, and a third brother.
